Richmond’s manufacturing process is approved by ISOQAR to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 meeting the exact requirements of the Furniture Industry Association (FIRA) Gold Award.
Cabinets are available in a choice of 15 or 18mm fine surface chipboard and have a number of key features and benefits.
1. Each cabinet is expertly constructed using 15 or 18mm fine surface chipboard manufactured to EN 312-2:2003 and faced in 80g/m2 melamine providing greater strength and preventing water ingress.
2. 15mm carcass is available in moisture resistant melamine faced chipboard increasing the lifespan of the kitchen units.
3. All exposed front edges are lipped with 0.4mm vinyl.
4. 15mm wall units are 303mm deep. 18mm wall units are 330mm deep. All base units are 570mm deep.
5. All units include a High Density Fibreboard back panel.
6. Shelves are height adjustable to 3 levels, supported by nylon shelf pegs. Centre support is provided for all units wider than 600mm to prevent shelf deflection.
7. All legs are constructed from high impact Polystyrene with a 35mm adjustment. The base of the legs is constructed from Polypropylene which is 99.9% recycled.
8. There is a 23mm service gap behind all wall units and 65mm service gap behind all base units to provide easy access to plumbing and pipe work.
9. Hanging brackets have a fully adjustable metal hanging arm contained within a reinforced plastic body.
10. Colour coordinated replacement ends available with every range.
11. 110 and 170 clip on 3 way adjustable, nickel plated hinges available, providing wide open aperture and the ability to remove doors for cleaning.
12. Drawer boxes are epoxy coated metal with 15mm MFC base and back panels.
13. Soft close doors and drawers available as upgrade.
