Integrated waste management system

Richmond’s commitment to the environment continues with the management of its waste packaging. 

Working to the principles of the EC Directive on Packaging and Packaging Waste 94/62/EC. Richmond is actively introducing recovery and recycling targets for packaging waste by encouraging minimisation and reuse of packaging. 

Richmond uses recycled and biodegradable packaging materials and is developing products and processes to reduce the need for unnecessary materials.
